So this past Monday I celebrated my 23rd birthday. My day was pretty awesome, and I will tell you a little about it. So pull up a chair and relax, and I will take you on a little journey of what happened on my birthday...
Well to begin it was also my Aunt Laurie's birthday also. I am quite honored to have been born her birthday, and I am glad that I get to share my birthday with a wonderful aunt like her. I love her very much, and I am thankful for her. She means a lot to me. Well when I got to work I had a card waiting for me from Makai's grandparents. I opened the card and read what it said. It was a very sweet card, and it made me want to cry because they are very sweet people, and I am thankful that I am able to be apart of their grandson's life. I usually babysit him every Sunday, so they can go out for a while. He is a very sweet little boy, and very easy to get attached to. Anyways they got me a Starbucks giftcard, and also a Boston Cream Cake. Later on in the afternoon after I had gotten back from my lunch my best friend Nancy surprised me by showing up, and bringing me a bouquet of balloons, a birthday headband, and a tote bag with a few goodies in it. She is so sweet and thoughtful I love her to pieces. I miss being able to spend time with her like we use to...WHen I got home on Wednesday my mom got me a very sweet card. Thank you Mom! I love you...Well since I was babysitting on my birthday I didn't get to be home on my birthday, so we celebrated on Wednesday night with my parents, sister, brother-in-law, my nephew Rory, and my grandma Mee-Mee...We all went over to my Mee-Mee's house for dinner, and boy was I so very full when I left that when I got home I crashed lol... She made fried cube steaks, fried okra & potatoes, homemade biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, and black-eyed peas, and for the dessert she made a jello salad that she called "pink gunk" (Now you can see why I was full..lol). All I can say is that I really did have a great birthday, and I am thankful to all of those who sent me a birthday text. You guys made my day! . Thank You! :)

Ya I am sorry that you didn't get to see me, and I am sorry that I didn't get to see you either.. I really wanted to go, but it just didn't work out for me because I needed to work cuz I couldn't afford to take it off :(... So next year for sure though :).. I hope I get to see you soon 2!
