First off I would like to say that I am SO happy that I got my taxes all taken care of, and that I don't have to worry about that anymore :). HALLELUJAH! lol... Now I am awaiting for the refunds to be deposited into my account; then it is shopping time & Disneyland for me :). lol
Last wednesday night after church I was sitting around talking to some people, and someone walked up to me and asked me if I would like to help them on their bus on sunday morning because they were short on people, so I told her that I would help because she has always been nice to me, and I would do anything for her. So starting this sunday morning I will be helping out with the bus ministry. I am really excited because I have been wanting to do this for sometime now, but just hadn't gotten around to it yet till now. So I am happy that God finally opened up the door for me to start helping out with the bus ministry. I will have fun because I enjoy working with kids, and I will get to know our bus kids and family and build relationships with them, and be praying that I can win them to God.
Slowly but surely I feel like God is leading me down the path that he wants me to take, and if I just keep on trusting in Him; He will lead me and take me where He wants me to go. God is an awesome God, and I am so thankful everyday for his tender mercy and grace. This song has been burning inside of me all week, and I will share it with you.
Trusting in Him
(Steve Pixler)
Verse 1:
In this life we live
Sometimes the storm clouds gather
And they hide the sun
My heart's as dark as the weather
But if I can look through the eyes of faith
I'll follow where He leads
I've gotta keep trusting in Him
To take me where He wants me to be.
Chorus:
I'll just keep trusting in Him
when I'm blinded by all the confusion
I'll just keep trusting in Him to see what I cannot see
Through every choice I make the direction I take
He knows what's best for me
I've gotta keep trusting in Him
To take me where He wants me to be.
Verse 2:
I know the wisdom of God
He can see tomorrow
And He knows every turn
And curve in the road that I follow.
He knows what it takes to help me make it through
And He'll give me what I need
I've gotta keep trusting in Him
To take me where He wants me to be.
(Bridge)
If I'll have childlike faith to trust in the Father's wisdom
I know I'll never fail to walk in the path He has chosen.
