*~Just Let it Unfold~*

It's only a tiny rosebud

This flower of God's design;

But I cannot unfold it's petals

With these clumsy hands of mine

The secret of unfolding flowers

Is not known to such as I

This flower God opens so sweetly,

Would in my hands fade and die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,

This flower of God's design,

How can I think I have wisdom

To unfold this life of mine?

So I'll trust in Him for His leading

Each moment of every day

I will look to Him for His guidance

Each step of the pilgrim way.

The pathway that lies before me,

My Heavenly Father knows.

I'll trust Him to unfold the moments

Just as He unfolds the rose.

This next week we will be in prayer and fasting at my church, and this year this poem is how I feel. I want to put my life in God's hands this coming week because I want Him to unfold my life according to His will. God has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives and if we just put it in His hands He will unfold your life into something beautiful.
